星空影视is thrilled to announce the winners of this year鈥檚 International Alumni of Impact program. Hailing from five countries around the world, these 10 incredible individuals are the embodiment of resilience, innovation, leadership, and generosity.听
Our International Alumni of Impact (IAOI) program celebrates international student graduates who鈥檝e made a positive impact in their communities. We want to spotlight the stories of graduates who demonstrate leadership, generosity, resilience and innovation, and create scholarships in their names to support future international students.
From establishing their college鈥檚 first Food and Basic Needs Support Program to impacting global youth policies and sustainable development, these individuals are quite literally changing the world.
Nominees are evaluated against the four program pillars to determine whether they qualify as a winner. We鈥檙e looking for former international students who embody resilience, innovation, leadership, and generosity.
International Alumni of Impact have conquered challenges and hardships to reach their goals and accomplishments. This helps build strength of character and adaptability which allows them to make impactful contributions. Resilience is an essential ingredient to overcome obstacles in their career or personal life.
International Alumni of Impact are leaders and enablers of bold, creative ways of working in their communities, personal lives, or working environments. Their achievements are a product of their inventiveness, originality, and curiosity. Innovation, in their eyes, is about introducing new ideas or ways of thinking to address everyday challenges and bring positive change.
International Alumni of Impact have demonstrated ownership, responsibility, and accountability in their lifetime. Their ability and willingness to take initiative injects meaning into their personal life, career, and community. Their initiatives speak to their ambition, confidence, and risk-taking attitude.
At their core, International Alumni of Impact are caring, supportive individuals who work well with others. They鈥檙e not only concerned with their own success, but the success of their teammates and peers. Their dedication to helping others, being supportive, and giving back to their community speaks volumes of their character.

Nominations will be open from January 24 - March 15, 2024. Interviews and Judging will take place on a rolling basis, with nominees being contacted by the end of April. Our 2024 International Alumni of Impact winners will be announced in early June.

The International Alumni of Impact (IAOI) program honours former international students who graduated from Canadian postsecondary institutions, recognizing their positive global impact. Winners will have their stories shared, and a scholarship named after them to support incoming international students. As champions of student success, 星空影视is creating a space for alumni to share impactful stories, and support the next generation of international leaders.
If you have a story about your own or someone else鈥檚 higher education journey, and how it allowed you or them to make a positive impact in the world, we want to hear it! We welcome self-nominations, third-party nominations, and those from Canadian Higher Education Institutions or industry professionals. There is no limit on third-party submissions; If you鈥檙e nominating someone else, we’ll work with you to obtain their consent to participate in the program.

There is no nomination fee or cost to participate in this program.
Up to ten winners will be selected as the 2024 International Alumni of Impact. Nominees will receive public recognition through a press release and media outreach, social media, and videos. Additionally, a scholarship will be created in the name of each winner to support an incoming international student studying at the institution each winner graduated from.
Nominees are assessed based on their lifetime actions and achievements, with a primary focus on their contributions and achievements post-graduation. The judging committee is comprised of聽
Nominations for the 2024 International Alumni of Impact program will be open until the end of May. Winners will be announced later this Summer.
Students accepted through 星空影视that are attending one of the institutions our winners graduated from will be eligible to receive the IAOI scholarship. The scholarship is open to all 2024 program intakes. The selection is automatic, based on merit from 星空影视applicants, with no separate application process.
